The #TransitApp is hands-down the most useful, empowering tool anyone has if they choose a multimodal lifestyle.
I went home to Cincinnati and downloaded this app. Didn’t get to use it as there was too much family stuff going on, but also gobsmacked that the @mbta.bsky.social just spent a billion dollars on their new pay by phone system when this already existed. apps.apple.com/us/app/trans...

My teen told me they had been using @transitApp after I told them about it. They said they blew a friend’s mind when they showed her how to track the bus. 😂

TransitApp is WAY more accurate as is uses OSM data which is updated daily by users, unlike Google Maps.

Our transit agency rocks y'all. We are lucky to live in a region that funds good transit AND the has their organizational ducks all in a lovely little row. Transitapp makes riding the bus so much easier -- reducing barriers for "choice" riders. YES!

Way too many people don't know that TransitApp is genuinely the best bike route planner out there... With one caveat:
It requires your area to have reliable OpenStreetMap cycleway data.

If WeGoTransit riders haven’t tried @transitapp, I highly recommend. Real time bus locations/arrivals, opportunities for giving feedback, and points and rankings for riders. Also, it took me lots of on and off “scrolling” but finally found a username I love.

Something I’ve been QUITE impressed with during #SXSW in Austin is how good the #TransitApp estimates have been. Even with traffic! Really awesome and I’ve been able to take CapMetro very reliably. (much better than I remember!)
