For anyone who's hiring or knows anyone who is, I'm looking for a new software engineering job. I'm a senior software engineer with 8 years of experience, including fullstack & MBSE. TransitTimes is a good showcase of my abilities. It is a Blazor WebAssembly app in C#/JS. Reply if you want my resume
In the 2½ years since I added maps to TransitTimes, a lot has changed. Route maps work, but only do a basic job of showing route groups (transit centers, train stations, etc.) Now, maps show groups better, resize icons based on zoom, and are clickable now!

TransitTimes will have a combined 1 and 2 Line schedule (Seattle to Lynnwood) ready as soon as schedule files are published by Sound Transit. This could begin as early as February if ST publishes schedules for the west side of the 2 Line during simulated service.
Annoyingly, Pierce Transit tends to wait until as late as the Friday before their service change to publish their updated GTFS feed. So no 597 or updated 574 are in TransitTimes just yet.
I plan on making a Federal Way-SeaTac-Seattle group for the 597, and adding 597 to the existing bus groups.

And with this update, I'm adding a brand new regional route group folder "Rail & Overnight bus" for combined all day and all night schedules for rail lines and night buses! For now, it's just:
1 Line & 570 (until Sat)

This tripped me up a bit because "0 minute" headways are normally a sign that something is wrong with TransitTimes, but having 12 buses ready to go after the match is believable as many busloads of people are leaving at the exact same time.

When view options were first added to TransitTimes, they looked like this. Since then, a ton more have been added, but they've stayed above the schedule. Now that they're moved into a dialog, it looks a lot less cluttered.

With the new routes list, TransitTimes can show you suspended routes. Agencies have done a good job at burying these over the years such that most people aren't even aware of them. Clicking on a suspended route shows info about its suspension, and what the schedule was the last day it operated.

Speaking of overnight service, the fact that a service day extends past midnight means that in the GTFS files, the circled time below is actually listed as "27:20" (as in, military time that extends the day past 23:59). This resulted in some crashes early in the Twitter bot phase of TransitTimes.

Top bar stays put when scrolling down so it's always easy to change routes, and view settings is now a dialog box over the schedule. You can even scroll the schedule with touch or mouse wheel while changing view options.

So, this is something I obviously want to fix in TransitTimes (mixing arrivals from different service days when necessary), but I'm still thinking about how.
Curious about how ST handles it on their website, the answer is... make you download the PDF. I suspect this is why they need you to do that.
