This problem is alleviated with the catalyst mechanics and the changes to how gear is obtained.
I can just catalyst my gear for transmog across two characters with gear I can get from delves and world content.
I'm not pigeonholed into having to ro High End Raid just for the seasonal set.

I mean the tendies they should offer should be the value of the reward. Recolours of this transmog are being sold for 700 Tendies so 200 would be pretty insulting

It will be a WoW OC, because I want to visualize slow evolution of this character and his design throughout this month, and WoW character creator + transmog system are pretty good for that.

Made a throwaway worgen alt to get some decor + transmog from Gilneas, and a couple things:
1. I forgot that their starting zone is tight as hell
2. I got attached and didn't delete him so I guess I have a worgen now
3. Going for a feral look but the top hat is then funny so it stays
