Same arguments when British Gas was first privatised. Massive pay rises for the Board, the argument being that they were now running a PLC so needed to be paid in line with their peers lest they be poached. But they weren't poached previously, so why the subsequent rises?

A #PrimrosePath to complete corruption... at the moment developers have to bribe several councillors to drive greedy over-development schemes though, soon they will *only* need to buy the mayor
