Today sees our last #LakeDistrict #trigpoint photo and it's Jessie, of course, sitting close beside the trig point on Skiddaw.

For #TombTuesday, here are some round barrows on Beacon Batch, Black Down, the highest point of the Mendip Hills. These are part of an extensive early Bronze Age cemetery, including pond and disc barrows. No records of excavation as far as I can see, although some have clearly been opened.

Trig point number 28 ticked off. A very pleasant circular walk to Bellever Tor with great views across Dartmoor.

The trig is conveniently situated on top of the Tor. Just 189 to go in Devon. Getting there slowly.
