This is the Heath Pub. The building is pretty new, but already becoming a trendy meeting spot for young people and a hot spot for political and philosophical discussions.

And here's the cargo train terminal as well as the railyard. This will improve the city's trade connections to neighbouring regions significantly! I know the railyard isn't properly integrated into the city, but that'll come in the future.

New westward expansion along the south coast. A farm and an empty patch of grass was redeveloped with low density housing, providing some much requested single-family homes.

With population pressure on the city center increasing, the farms on the south shore of the peninsula have been replaced with new housing developments.

The main street has been extended all the way to the perpendicular highway and a new on-/off-ramp has been integrated into the pre-existing highway interchange.

Additional landfill to handle all the trash being produced, The first one was almost full.

Also see that empty space between those streets? That's space for a planned cargo rail station :)

While the harbor was under construction, the city also built its first college. With space for over 3000 students, it promises to provide higher education for the entire city.

As the first major act in his second term, mayor Hayes drafted a plan to losen the strict low-density housing zoning around the castle ruin park, which would allow for denser housing and shops to be developed.

The new power plant has been built! It will finally provide enough power to supply the whole city. Now it is vital that the new harbor will be built soon as the old harbor is not fit for the purpose of supplying the power plant with the necessary amount of coal.

Drama struck the city again with the construction of Kapine Tower, the new HQ of telecom firm Kapine. It was built on Wood Street, the border between high density Downtown and low density George Harrison Park. (1/3)

Overview of my Cities: Skylines city Trinity Gate. Compared to last overview post, there are more farms, the new coal power plant and of course the new harbor. The city center has also massively densified compared to last update.

With the new growth come new tensions, as the industry continues to expand, blocking the view to the sea even more. If the city can't find a way to expand the industry in the other direction, away from the residential area, more unrest will arise.

The area just before the tip of the peninsula is also densifying, albeit more sporadic and less focused than the city center.

The town's first recreational waterfront! Still very small and really only meant for the local residents, but it is a start of what will become a huge set of waterfronts across the city.

The main problem with traffic in Trinity Gate is that all traffic going deeper up the peninsula needs to go through the entire town and all traffic shares the same streets. The highway easily has enough capacity for the traffic, but the city street network does not.
