The governing body approved Resolution 192627 authorizing acceptance and execution of New Mexico Finance Authority Water Project Fund agreements totaling $2,522,765 for wastewater treatment plant improvements: a $2,270,488 grant, a $252,277 loan and a $252,276 cash match; staff said bond funds will cover the cash match and the department can support the loan.

The commission authorized staff to apply to the Water Trust Board for approximately $2.3 million in design-only funding (100% grant) that staff said would support well improvements and about 31,000 linear feet of water line design, enabling a shovel-ready $25 million water project.
