#TsServer
Frameworks with template type checking (Angular, Vue etc.) and tools like typescript-eslint have to wait for the new IPC API in 7.1 and adapt to the completely new extension model (no more tsserver plugins or direct requires of compiler internals).

Altough there is quite a change when it comes to integration:

VS Code now integrates via LSP instead of tsserver – although this served as the blueprint for LSP, but has never been adapted to LSP. All other editors can ditch the unoffical LSP adapters and benefit from first-class LSP support.

Fix Extremely Slow Drizzle IntelliSense on Large Schemas Drizzle schema files make tsserver grind to a halt on large table sets. Here are the upgrade and cast trick that restore completions. Topics: drizzle-orm, typescript, intellisense https://www.iloveblogs.blog/post/bug-extre…

I think it's because it was made with javascript in mind (vscode + tsserver) and webdevs forgot there are other things than json APIs

tsserver as in typescript? Maybe upgrade that to tsgo?

who will win???: a 24gb vps with 8 cores vs 18 docker containers, 10 parallel agents, and a lil rogue tsserver using 200% CPU alone 😍🥰

the fiddly bit: register a second outline provider and VSCode just gives you two lists: the real symbols, then your marks dumped in a clump below. no nesting.

so it slots in as a tsserver plugin and rewrites the navtree tsserver hands back. marks land inside the right class instead. \o/

missed Xcode's // MARK: dividers in VSCode, so I made them.

draws a rule in the editor, shows up in the outline as a jump point. any language; on TS it hooks into tsserver so marks sit in the real symbol tree.

4GBってことは、arch + sway (wayland) の場合
sway で数百MB使う
firefox でyoutube 見ると時間経過でGB単位のメモリーが飛ぶ

tsserver とvscode 使うのは論外
rust analyzer も怪しい

No, there's a standalone analyzer, a tsserver plugin, and a VS Code extension.

Oh nice, is lit using volar for tsserver integration?

this one legit took me a while. i didn't bother to do the final output format because i need to get back to work. kinda surprised tsserver could handle the brute force solution

brazy your cloud console is taking up as much ram as tsserver

Defining inline does work, though loses the nice package name even t huogh I did specify name: "scripts"

But, this doesn't really scale...

I just have the one package so I'll just use multiple configs, I suppose

it slows down startup and i really don't like how they bundle the compiler with the runtime itself.

and also having to depend on an lsp other than tsserver to correctly resolve deps is annoying, especially when you aren't building exclusively for deno

💡 Summary by GPT:
