Have this feeling Tsatas through more strength in his legs has increased his speed.

Boys out training this morning. Will try and get some good videos. First one is initial simple kicking drills. Tsatas in this drill

Nice under 24 age representation. Great spoil by Hayes. Reid with the nice spot up. Martin to Tsatas who then kicks it to Bryan

Not many players on our list read the ball off hands better than Tsatas, starting to see a real player develop.

Well how about that?! The drought is broken!! 😂Great stuff
@essendonfc.bsky.social, good to know doing basics OK & with some positivity can win. Roberts superb, loving Wright in ruck, Kako the livewire & surely Tsatas stays in now. Best performance from whole midfield group for years. #afldonsdees

Just no other way of saying it.... but again the most dominant player in today's match practice is Elijah Tsatas. Yes it has to translate to real games but boy is he putting a serious case forward

Must of had 10 clearances so far

My tip for a break out year, Tsatas is always doing the extras to get better.

Two pre-seasons now where Elijah Tsatas has consistently completed extra sessions to work on his game. There are really good signs that the hard work is starting to produce results.
Real games will truly tell but he has given himself every chance to succeed through his attitude

Int: Perkins, Parish, Bryan and Tsatas

Sub: Roberts

Training Notes 9/4/25

- Tsatas, Perkins full training, ready to go
- Wright and Parish trained too, they should play in the VFL practice game
- Guelfi slow running laps
- Cox fully trained

- ADW some midfield time at training, continues to impress

Last training day of 2024 completed. Long 3 hour session this morning. I could not make it but good friend notes:

Redman and Martin playing lengthy stints in the midfield.

Training had good intensity.

Draper marking and moving very well.

Tsatas ball use was very good

El-Hawli half back

Some fantastic insight on Elijah Tsatas and vision of his clearance work from the weekends game.

Has to be a walk up start for round 1 in the midfield.

I cannot overstate how impressed I've been with Elijah Tsatas today. He's reading the ball brilliantly off hands, getting teammates into the game with clean hands and ever-improving foot skills.

Ok training observations(via friend)

Tsatas has build ip his core upper body strength considerably

Perkins and Menzie looking leaner. Focus seems to be more on greater speed and mobility

Draper in best condition since being at the club. Looks ripped

Hayes stronger. Reid did the whole session

Video today at training (from nickers at Bomberblitz). Tsatas gets the initial clearance, then gets it back and has a nice controlled pass to Kako. Kako doesn't mark (likely free on Kako)
