Finally watched Tsumasho to see what all the fuss was about.
And sure enough it could have gone so many different kinds of ick if they’d made it a romcom, but instead it’s an emotional powerhouse about grief and loss.
I don’t think I’ve cried this much since Violet Evergarden.
It’s more like UP.

Finally watched Tsumasho to see what all the fuss was about.
And sure enough it could have gone so many different kinds of ick if they’d made it a romcom, but instead it’s an emotional powerhouse about grief and loss.
I don’t think I’ve cried this much since Violet Evergarden.
It’s more like UP.

Felizmente TsumaSho é um raro mangá que toma o lado da pessoa comum e fala "supera o luto e não case com o literal fantasma da ex, toque a vida e conheça gente nova."

I watched TsumaSho with my SO recently, a story of loss, grief and family with a fantastical element. For its theme it's been incredibly fun. I laughed and cried a lot, it's been a very heartfelt and satisfying watch, I was very glad and happy how well executed it was 🥺
