Either that, or saying that S3 is not-queer and incest as shock-value. It's such a deep understanding of TVL/QotD and further books, letting us into Lestat's deteriorating mental health. His book counterpart was "OK" "It was love" until he off himself in TtotBT. I was like where did that come from?!

I like this discussion. To me, the writers prob trying to do Lestat from all 13 books instead of just TVL. I love TVL book Lestat but by the time QotD ends and TtotBT started, I'm saddened by the extent of his glossing over all his trauma "I'm fine" every time someone asked him. Suddenly, without

- to his own head. But in btwn Qotd and TtotBT he crashed big time, and tried to off himself. This was all his traumas that he kept denying saying bc "he conducts the chaos". He wanted to die but never said that either. Next thing we know, he flew into the sun in the Gobi desert. It was shocking.

Yeah I heard speculation that they might gv the lead to some other characters just so Sam Reid can still do QotD and TtotBT... I don't know how that whole thing will pan out but I'm excited abt it 😆

Sheridan Blackwood is one of Lestat's many aliases used in TtotBT (when Talbot registered them for the cruiseship). Yes I wonder if Quinn won't show up. I like Merrick's seance scene which was the only part that necessary from that book. Memnoch might be a spin-off I heard.

It’s not a detail related to daniel specifically but the tanned skin!
idk if you read the books but it starts with ttotbt I think when lestat tries to kill himself under the sun but ends up with a tan in several books afterwards lol

The writers said for this season (and next if it's greenlit) the they're taking from Qotd, TtotBT, Merrick and Prince Lestat. They've already talked abt Amel last ep.

I am bowled over by the dedication, hard work to make the music for Lestat this season. He feels like a real rockstar with concert dates and fans. I'm glad they address his deteriorating mental health that happens thru TVL, Qotd & TtotBT bc in the books I was shocked by the Gobi Desert trip.

My friend just got to Mojo in TTotBT and I am now just sitting here thinking about how much I LOVE MOJO. Mojo is the best character.
Also I think "this is not a vampire dog, this is a normal dog," is a top 10 funniest tvc moment.

Interesting. I love the 94 movie, read the books, my faves are TVL, QotD and TtotBT. The AMC show revived my love for VC and I read the last 3 books of the Chronicles. I find the show to be closer to the whole arc of the entire chronicles. To have it made by this team is a dream come true for me.

i wouldn't even be surprised if they add the scene in ttotbt when lestat rapes a woman and make light out of it.............. and that's such a bad sign man.
i get it's a dark show, i love it for that. hell i've read 8 books already but something rubs me the wrong way
