on tuchanka helping mordin "cure the genophage" in ME3 and at the point where (spoilers!) the turian airstrike on the reaper has failed and i'm in the catacombs. over the radio wrex is like "nothing is gonna stop this cure!" and i'm like "that's not true 👀🤫"

one thing i’m really not loving about Mass Effect 3 so far is how it lumps all your missions into one menu. like i have SO MANY things to do rn and i know they will thin out as i complete some but this is fucking crazy, why did they think *this* was a good idea?

Plenty of things to be disappointed about in ME3 but that game still has some of my absolute favorite missions (Tuchanka and Rannoch) and I’ll still defend it as being great, if also deeply flawed

Yea. A lot of species become obnoxiously invasive when taken out of their natural environment, and ecologically destructive.
It's like that human trader who accidentally brought the earliest pyjaks onto Tuchanka, and the krogan killed him for doing that.

I love replaying Mass Effect. Playing with the Expanded Galaxy Mod, and I really like how you can see the the progress of the reapers on the galaxy map. Lots of fun little additions, like the extra bodyguards between Palaven and Tuchanka.

Such a bummer that you can't take Urz with you back to the Normandy. Yeah, he's probably better off staying on Tuchanka. A ship's no place for a varran. I guess.
But this is also the same ship that has a huge aquarium in the captain's quarters. Mia is continually baffled by this design choice.

like Tuchanka and Rannoch are the peaks of the game, but within Rannoch the flattening of the Geth from a truly alien intelligence that can still be understood and befriended to "lol we're just AI now we're using singular pronouns" is infuriating
