TUCSON, Ariz. (JN) - A suspected abduction in Tucson has drawn national attention after investigators reported signs of forced entry

The sudden vanishing of Nancy Guthrie, the 84-year-old mother of prominent TODAY show anchor Savannah Guthrie, has captured widespread attention, turning a peaceful desert subdivision north of Tucson into the center of a national story. It all started on a recent Sunday when Pima County deputies responded to a report of a missing elderly woman from her single-story brick home. What they found raised immediate alarms: red splatter on the front doorstep along with signs of damage both inside and outside the property, quickly leading investigators to treat the case as a likely abduction.
