the unit has round metallic bars as a stand, a slanted black triangular piece at the bottom with two controllers, one attached to either side, a screen display up top with 'turboduo' in large styled white font above and black surrounding the screen including a rectangular area for a speaker on each side.

The first #Ys game to introduce voice acting was Ys Book I & II for #TurboGrafx16 / #TurboDuo. Similar to some of the newer titles, these were reserved for special cutscenes while the majority of the game's dialogue is written text.

Another PC Engine Kunio game has been translated. This time it's Downtown Nekketsu Koushinkyoku - Soreyuke Daiundoukai which is similar to Crash n' the Boys on the NES.

#Ys Book I & II had a variant re-release for the #TurboDuo with different CD design and no backing to the white jewel case. Unlike the original release, it didn't include an outer box or map.
