Trump’s powerful new friends are making MAGA uncomfortable
via The Hill News — President Trump’s appearances with Chinese President Xi Jinping, New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani (D) and leaders from Silicon Valley risk turning off his political base just as Republicans are seeking to turbocharge turnout ahead of the midterms, say GOP strategists. The president has always loved meeting with the powerful, even if they are dictators…

I’ve found that the hydroponic setup seems to turbocharge them! I water germinate the seeds before I seed the soil pods and they just GO. Last time I did this I had enough lettuce for 3 of us to have salads with spaghetti within 3.5 weeks.

"Short term AI is going to be inflationary bc it’s going to turbocharge the ability of current billing systems to work more effectively." "That’s why we are so rapidly rushing towards the accountable care element of this game."-GAME?
Someone wanna tell the wiz of oz that HEALTHCARE is NOT a GAME!

It’s not something you *have* to do. But it will turbocharge you achieving your desired results and outcomes. More than that, it’s important to start finding little wins in getting smaller aspects of your gameplay and game sense correct. Those are the things that add up to bigger wins.

11/ The Tech Transparency Project, a corporate watchdog, documented Palantir recruiting from Congress, the CIA & Pentagon offices important to its sales. Political hiring is an established strategy. www.techtransparencyproject.org/articles/ins...
TTP - Inside Palantir’s Expanding Influence Operation
Palantir is poised to turbocharge its U.S. military sales in the Trump era. But it’s been laying the groundwork for a much deeper infiltration of Washington.

“‘This money will disproportionately flow to private school families, & to the extent it flows to public school families, it will disproportionately flow to better off families,”’ said Jon Valant, director of the Brown Center on Ed Policy at Brookings Institution” www.chalkbeat.org/2026/09/30/h...
Trump wants a new tax credit to turbocharge school choice. Public schools have their own ideas.
Some in the public education sphere hope to use the tax credit to pay for everything from SAT prep to field trips. Others worry the money won’t materialize on a large scale.

Like others in the quote skeets, I stopped going to BM exhibitions a couple of years ago after some unpleasantly overcrowded ones. Looks like they're not only still on that bullshit but have managed to turbocharge it.
So the Bayeux Tapestry exhibition is not going very well

They've sold far too many tickets and the space cannot cope with the physical number of people - how did they not do basic crowd flow/control calculations?

Embarrassing that the British cannot organise a queue properly

2D semiconductor aims to turbocharge development of high-performance electronics
Electric currents in semiconductors arise from the movement of either negatively charged electrons or positive charge carriers known as holes. Research into atomically thin semiconductors has yielded remarkable 2D materials that efficiently transport electrons. However, identifying counterpart materials that efficiently transport holes has been much more challenging. The lack of such materials has been a considerable obstacle to the implementation of complementary 2D electronics — in which devices that use electron-transporting (n-type) 2D semiconductors are paired with equivalent devices that use hole-transporting (p-type) 2D semiconductors to improve overall performance and power efficiency. Writing in Nature, Tseng et al.1 report a semiconductor known as boron carbon nitride (BCN) that potentially fills this gap. doi: https://doi.org/10.1038/d41586-026-02777-x Reprints and permissions Competing Interests The authors declare no competing interests. I mean, no one likes being criticised but for the open reaction of so many men to openly declare "if you criticise me I will turbocharge the thing you're criticising" is pathetic and aggravating but also so utterly grim.

"No feedback, only praise!" is a hopeless position.

As always, if it ever applies to talk about a culture having 'a few bad apples' is a sign that said culture is rotten

An apple that is going bad releases gasses that turbocharge ripening and breakdown of nearby apples, causing them to go bad in a day that would've otherwise been fine for weeks
One of the things to come from GamerGate was the gamification of torturing real, live women...hounding them out of their homes, making them look over their shoulders for years.
It was treated as a joke, nbd, the work of a few bad apples--as all terrorism against women is--& that failure leads here.
The Cornell victim has been doxxed on X. So worried for her. I hate this planet.

I don't think MAGA will ever turn on 45, but he's also old and unwell. When he dies, they'll go full circular firing squad on each other. Look at what happened to the right after Charlie Kirk, but turbocharge it.
