Mimino flew as helicopter pilot out of his hometown Telavi to Tusheti, the remote mountain valley in the north of Kakheti, dreaming of a glamorous career as Aeroflot pilot.

Unfortunately, the airport will be renamed into "King Erekle II", the Kakhetian king for more than 50 years living in Telavi.

Oj det låter lite farligt. Men du kan ju alltid ta dig till Tusheti för att få lite lugn och ro. Dvs om du inte är rädd för farliga vägar. Men väldigt fint där. Men kanske är det för sent på året för att vägen dit ska fungera. Nåväl finns mkt att se runt om Tblisi.
