Normally when people have heated conversations about Muppets, it’s over reasonable topics like “remake a movie with an all muppet cast” (Twister) or “which Muppet has the biggest dick” (Grover)
These guys are insane. Like they’re choosing to be bigots and there’s no excuse for it but they also have actual wildly misfiring synapses.

I finally decided to watch Twisters (Twister is one of my all time favorite movies and I was hesitant to see the remake tbh).
So far, it's pretty good! But also...

I finally decided to watch Twisters (Twister is one of my all time favorite movies and I was hesitant to see the remake tbh).

im so annoyed with the twister remake/sequel whatever. the original is perfect original campy 90s nonsense! it's fantastic in all the ways it could possibly be, trying to make anything like it now is doomed to fail

This list of major film releases next year is dire. I know it isn’t the full slate and lots of lovely original smaller stuff will release, but I count a grand total of three films here that aren’t a sequel, remake, or franchise.

Original Twister movie is the absolute best from the storytelling to pacing to the OST. However Into the Storm (2014) is MUCH better than the Twisters (Twister Remake) 2024. I highly recommend seeing Into the Storm 🌪️

Original Twister movie is the absolute best from the storytelling to pacing to the OST. However Into the Storm (2014) is MUCH better than the Twisters (Twister Remake) 2024. I highly recommend seeing Into the Storm 🌪️

After replaying Panzer Dragoon Remake I'm now just redownloading random rail shooters from my Switch 1 library onto the Switch 2. Currently on Air Twister which remains a weird but radical Sega inspired prog-rock experience.
