I won't be able to post much from this film for a while BUT I thought I'd share this R&D test for some simple pond weed/algae and water interaction. I ended up not using this effect (for various reasons) but I was happy with how it turned out none the less!

I should mention that the software I use is 3ds max (I am old) and the particle systems were all created/driven by the fantastic tyFlow plugin. I made a LOT of scene that I ended up cutting, but it was a great learning experience

they even almost certainly used TyFlow. It would be hilarious if Ty yanked their licence for this out of pure malice, you're basically TyFlow's best ambassador because you do real, full projects 😅

For CG/3D tech nerds/pervs, I used Zbrush for sculpting the seal, everything else is 3ds Max, with tyFlow helping out with the sticker setup and rendered in V-Ray.
