Two frequent and related questions: (1) Can I leave the state with my kids, and (2) Can my ex leave the state with my kids? One parent cannot simply move their child to another state without permission or a court order. nydivorcefacts.com/uniform-chil... #childcustody #childcustodylaw

Ms. Curry urges court to dismiss Washington proceedings, says Texas was child's home state
At a June 3, 2026 virtual discretionary-review hearing in a parentage matter, Ms. Curry argued Washington lacked jurisdiction under the UCCJEA because Texas was the child's home state; opposing counsel said Washington's factual findings and state Supreme Court precedent support continued Washington jurisdiction. The commissioner took the matter under advisement.

Don't know when she found out.. But can you imagine what she's entitled to in Child support action.. under the UCCJEA, ALL minor children must be supported.. 375k isn't adequate support based on Jerry's income.. No judge can deny support..

To determine which state has proper jurisdiction to make an "initial determination" of child custody, the UCCJEA proceeds in the following order of priority:

The state which is the "home state" of the child, or was the child's home state within six months immediately before, has jurisdiction

Sounds like a UCCJEA area.. uffda.

Wonder if that'll be targeted along with no-fault divorce?

This is bullshit. There are methods for doing this through state courts and the UCCJEA. I have handled cases involving minors from foreign countries in Florida state court. The DOJ appears to be lying here.

Did you know that Massachusetts is in the process of adopting the Uniform Child Custody Jurisdiction and Enforcement Act (UCCJEA). The Massachusetts Senate recently passed legislation to modernize child custody jurisdiction laws, aligning with other states by adopting the UCCJEA.

Since they're leaning so heavily on the "subject to the jurisdiction" clause, consider any number of arguments as to how a newborn falls under federal and state jurisdiction.

I'm thinking of the UCCJEA: a state can exercise temporary emergency jurisdiction over a child in need, within its borders.

When figuring out which state has jurisdiction over a custody case, it turns out there are pretty specific guidelines. www.goldbergjones-or.com/child-custod...
How is Jurisdiction Determined in Custody Disputes?
In child custody battles, one spouse may resort to kidnapping. To address this, the UCCJA, PKPA, and the UCCJEA were enacted.

I understand now. You are entitled to reverse misogyny, defamation of character and disenfranchisement of other American citizens and Parents. These are all violations of UCCJEA, Tropea v Tropea, Marbury v Madison and U.S.C 242 Title 18.

Love that idea but NYS allows women to be violent in front of our children, then family court allows them to leave the state in violation of weak legislation under the UCCJEA, as the children are trafficked across the country.

Family Court in New York State is notorious for child trafficking. The UCCJEA is too weak and Topea v Tropea does not protect Father's. It's time something is done about this.
February 22, 2026 at 6:25 PM
Protecting children in Texas is particularly difficult when women leave other states to hide there in violation of UCCJEA, then say oops, the statute of limitations is up after 6 months and now you have to take me to court here while I avoid service, as I always have.
February 1, 2026 at 11:14 AM
It was not based on loneliness. It was based on child trafficking by State Court systems despite having established protections from taking children illegally through the UCCJEA.
The States started to budget for 17 million "taken" children per year. In Trump first year it jumped to 19 million.

When a spouse is allowed to leave the State in violation of UCCJEA, or rather the law not to mention she abandoned the marital home. Furthermore w/a 6 mo time clock the rules change&your money is lost. That's not due process. That's a level of ignorance to the U.S.Constitution on par w/brain damage.
April 29, 2025 at 10:05 PM
It's the same when after 6 months the child is under different rules even if she left in violation of the UCCJEA or rather the law. It is very much the same.

He sells and I quote, "a better life, even better than you dreamed off". My ex sits every Sunday on his very right side of the Stadium with my daughter, after hitting me, and making false allegations just so she could be allowed to leave NYS in violation of UCCJEA law.
