I approached two people to start a Human and AI Book club in 1/2025 associated with UCGIS, a largely quantitative-oriented group. As of today 50 list members, 7 active members. Of the 50 members, 41 Quantitative Geographers. We have a panel at AAG and it feels disingenuous. The experiment failed.
