adb and every other USB-related thing too, every distro in existence refuses to do their job and ship udev rules that actually work for 90% of cases
and why the hell doesn't Arch/Manjaro/literally anyone ship NVIDIA modprobe.d defaults that actually work, the wiki isn't a package manager ffs

ENV{DEVTYPE}=="gadget", ENV{NM_UNMANAGED}="1"
So udev joins systemd & NetworkManager on the shitlist...

I spent too long trying to get a raspberry pi zero to connect via ethernet gadget mode. No reconnect on reboot
After too much searching I find...
/usr/lib/udev/rules.d/85-nm-unmanaged.rules says
ENV{DEVTYPE}=="gadget", ENV{NM_UNMANAGED}="1"

On Linux I used to just override the chosen config via udev, and the Linux USB audio driver already has quirks for Yamaha devices.
As far as I can tell it has standard Audio Device Class descriptors in prop mode... it just sets bInterfaceClass to 255 so they aren't recognized.
