#UKGov
and the wild part is it genuinely takes like a minute to find out that it's not true. i see news articles simultaneously talking about automatic settlement while linking to application pages! if they'll happily lie about something this blatant, you can't trust ukgov an inch on basically anything
In claiming that immigrants have had some sort of route to "automatic settlement", the Home Office, many politicians, and some people parroting them are engaging in disinformation.

All hail the Zeptoverse!

LHCb-CERN has detected a beauty quark (existing for <1.5 trillionths of a sec) interacting with other particles at a scale of a billion-trillionth of a metre😵‍💫🥳.

Typical that this breakthrough moment is when the UKGov pulls its funding. 🤦‍♀️ ⚛️🧪

"A Home Office spokesperson told The i Paper: “This Government has announced reforms that mean settlement must be earned and not automatic." hey @theipaper.com, there IS no automatic settlement. can you be the first news site to do its job and point this out? ask ukgov why they keep lying about it?
A few stories about people who will be impacted by the ILR changes. The changes will accomplish nothing except inflicting misery and suffering on people, which at this point I must assume is their only purpose.
Indefinite leave to remain changes are devastating - I worry I'll lose everything
Young people on track for permanent residency say the proposed ILR reform could leave them facing years of uncertainty, mounting costs and the prospect of uprooting from the UK

I think this is the second time she's been arrested for protesting genocide.

meanwhile the ukgov continues to support Zionist Israel and goes to court this week to make sure they can continue arresting peaceful protestors like her.

The only reason wind generated electricity is expensive to bill payers is that UKGov artificially pegs it to the price of gas. Labour truly are feckwits.
Is Labour going barmy? Now it's making up excuses to cancel any future offshore wind projects, rather than tackling the barriers to renewables adoption.

Will it apply the same logic to new nuclear?

The new UKgov paper published on immigration today says they're going to stop allowing student visas to be a qualifying ILR pathway in any capacity. Which, like, sure, shoot yourself in both feet if that's what you want.

Are people also aware that, apart from arresting 94-year old pensioners for protesting genocide, the UKGOV are actvely helping zionist israel?
the british army training IDF came up in parliamentary questions. And the British reconnaissance flights over Gaza for Israel is common knowledge.

Can't see "we didn't see anything" working at the Hague.

Whenever support for independence rises this old trope gets wheeled out. In 2014 we were told there was only 5 years of oil left.
News about massive oil reserves under the continental shelf was hushed by ukgov. And then miraculously, it turned out only 50% of North Sea resources had been tapped!

Designs for this exist and have been discussed within oil & gas design/construction/operation forums for ten years. I wonder why it hasn’t been in the foreground of discussions within UKGov?

Burnhams "federalism/extra devo" is creating Mayor's to give direct UKGov funding to. - Labour mayors that will be so they can bypass holyrood. Much like the Tory govt before them who tried funding councils directly, bypassing holyrood. Or am I missing something?

You might think ukgov has considered that factor, prohibition has clearly failed as a policy. So why continue? What if the drug cartels are bribing politicians to maintain prohibition? I know, it sounds radge, but why continue a policy that causes deaths and is a huge drain on law enforcement?

The Jackdaw decision suits Shell & UKGov winter fuel needs, thus no tax raid - Shell is also Net Zero policy compliant.
The BP situation is different - its exiting the N Sea & not Net Zero compliant. UKGov does not want to force the seemingly inevitable UK exit (its exAMOCO US division makes most $)

Energy bills are set to go up again, this really is not addressing the problem. The more money they put in, the more energy companies push up their bills. They see this money as their money. Until a UKgov actually deals with this, nothing will change.
Watch as the Chancellor announces twenty million households will be given £100 to help pay their energy bills

The Scottish Government will be given the funding to replicate the payments, John Healey added

2) "Typical that this breakthrough moment is when the UKGov pulls its funding."
Well, I don't know about that. I mean, who would begrudge our esteemed MPs a minimum of 9 billion quid of taxpayers money for a new state of the art workplace complete with numerous subsidised bars and restaurants...

You mean of course the 2 ACC ukgov built to support the USN supercarriers? As you rightly say the RN can’t screen 1, never mind both, if they were on active duty. Either can only operate as part of a USN formation.
That’s assuming one of them is actually fit for service…

Are they anticipating shortages of water supply or have they intelligence of possible attacks on water supply.
Given the perilous state of Englands water companies, disrupting supply would be a soft target for a country aggrieved with ukgov allowing US bombers to attack them.
