For a long time, leaning into "ethnic" art directions was considered too risky to fund because it was a chicken/egg situation. Nobody wanted to fund them, so nobody knew how they would sell. Nowadays we have unapologetically bold looks like this.

im sure ive complained about this several times already but its next to impossible to take time for myself. i teach 8 hours a day weekdays and on top of that im obligated to work 35 hrs a week for unfated and if im not doing either i have to plan lessons and write curriculum. it never ends

god my workload rn is hellish but its gonna feel so good to go from working 2 fulltime jobs all of july to having absolutely no responsibilities for all of august until the school year starts and my contract w unfated renews
