Nat'l forest experts, organizations of the collaborative partnership on forests & stakeholders discussed how to halt & reverse deforestation by 2030 and reach all #GlobalForestGoals. 🇩🇪 will work towards #COP30 in Bélem & beyond to highlight the global relevance of forests.
Afternoon discussions at #UNFF20 was on monitoring, assessment, and reporting in light of a looming deadline for voluntary national reports. It was stressed that the quality of the 2026 Global #Forest Goals Report depends on the quality AND quantity of submissions. Last time, they only received 52.
