La pandemia de covid-19 ha mostrado, en directo y como nunca antes, la importancia de una investigación científica robusta y de excelencia. Buena parte de la sociedad se ha interesado estos meses por cuestiones que antes le parecían ajenas: qué es un virus, cómo llegan los virus a las células humanas, qué es un ensayo clínico, cómo funciona una vacuna y por qué es importante administrarla al conjunto de la población susceptible de infectarse. ¿No sería mejor estar al corriente de cuestiones tan importantes de forma habitual, sin tener que esperar a otra pandemia?
