#UPenn's
Still thinking about my experience with UPenn's MindCORE DIVEin Mentorship Program! 🧠

I had the opportunity to learn more about research, connect with amazing mentors, explore a new state, and spend time surrounded by people who share similar interests and passions. A big thank you to everyone! 💗

Kristin Schwab and Sofia Terenzio from @marketplace.org have a great look at the problem of AIs in academic research.
AI in academic journal submissions is hurting the credibility of research itself
UPenn’s Anna Wexler talks about how her work as a journal editor is changing now that AI is showing up in researcher’s submissions.

Donald Trump and Elon Musk went to UPenn's Wharton. That's a strong justification for shutting it down. www.nytimes.com/2026/10/18/o...

I read in the Inquirer today that UPenn’s endowment *increased* by $6 billion last year. The FY27 executive budget for CUNY is $6.4 billion.

I'm sure when UPenn's archaeology department heard Brad Lidge was intetested in pursuing this they were overwhelmingly excited about courting a scholar of his caliber

As I understand it, President Trump's degree was a Bachelor's degree from UPenn's Wharton School. That's a far cry from the well-respected Wharton MBA degree.
September 21, 2026 at 1:07 PM
Yes but this a reflection on UPENN's standards when it comes to mommy and daddy writing big checks for their stupid children
He has a bachelor’s degree in economics
Trump: "If we lose $50 billion a year with a country, and we say 'we're not going to trade with you anymore,' we don't lose $50 billion a year. It's very simple. Right?"
September 17, 2026 at 1:19 PM
OMG.
Trump graduated from UPenn's Wharton School.
Wharton School of Business should rescind Trump's graduation or face being closed altogether.

All presidential candidates should have to pass an IQ test to impede future embarrassments in the WH. MOCA doesn't count.

In UPenn's defense, tiny though it may be, does Trump strike you as a good student or someone that just skated on by because daddy was rich? Maybe they improved their standards since then since I doubt anyone that "taught" Trump is even still alive

Wharton is UPenn’s Business School. Just like Sloan is MIT’s or Haas is Berkeley’s. They do all degrees.
September 17, 2026 at 1:27 AM
I think it would be funny if the next President threatened to pull UPenn's accreditation just based on how dumb their most famous graduate is.
I suppose this is what happens when you ask an idiot to explain economics.
September 16, 2026 at 9:02 PM
Fun tidbit... he doesn't have an MBA from Wharton (and I know you didn't specify that he did). But 'Wharton' is also the name on UPenn's undergraduate business school. He's just a regular old undergrad business degree holder. And fucking phenomenally dumb one at that.

Snopes: "In sum, there is no evidence Trump ranked 364th in his class, and UPenn's policy is to not release any information regarding students' rankings." Snopes does cite evidence that he was not on the Dean's List, so not within the top 56 of the class of 366.
www.snopes.com/news/2026/04...
Did Trump graduate 364th out of 366 in college despite claims he finished at top?
The University of Pennsylvania, Trump's alma mater, said it does not disclose class rankings of its alumni.

He doesn’t have a Wharton MBA

He has an undergraduate degree in Real Estate I believe from UPenn’s business school named after Joseph Wharton

Also the Wharton MBA didn’t become a thing until the 1980s well after Trump got his degree

The man is fraud
September 13, 2026 at 2:56 PM
Except he didn't go to Wharton, which is UPenn's graduate business school. Daddy only bought him a bachelor's degree.
