The PlaCo library handles kinematic loop closures 🔄 Frame attachments can be specified in a way compatible with URDF, and a relative position task maintains loop closure during motion. Plus, the documentation is very nice: https://placo.readthedocs.io/en/v0.9.17/kinematics/loop_closures.html

Vehicle URDF model is complete and visualized in RViz2. Next step: refactoring with Xacro to make the robot description modular, easier to maintain, and ready for future extensions.

I live just up the road from Flower Hill and I walk or cycle it most days. It’s the main road north out from Navan town centre. It was awarded €7.6m in URDF funding over 4 years ago but since then nothing has happened.

Right in the heart of Navan town yet full of vacant, crumbling buildings.
