Injuries have plagued them. They have a good county system, so they are a good follow. One of the players on my USGAA hurling club is from Clare so they are solid lads. 😉

After three 12-hour days in a row of photographing sports outside in roasting heat and 70% humidity, this is how I feel. My lips are sunburned. My eyes are bloodshot. My leg had a run-in with a stinging flying insect that left a mark. I loved it. #usgaa #gaa #sports #photography #sportsphotography

The GAA has unjustly persuaded Facebook to terminate the NCGAA Facebook page. NCGAA has introduced more young college students to Hurling and Gaelic Football than the USGAA ever has. The GAA community needs to denounce this bullying behavior!!!

Negatives (which would probably apply to AFL if a similar situation): I basically can’t play Camogie due to gender identity now that I’m in NYC because they are not part of the USGAA. (I REALLY miss Camogie.)

I will say that the USGAA does a lot of really cool stuff to help clubs and build the games. My teams in Wisconsin got a good amount of money to buy equipment and what not. In general, there was also far less travel to play matches.
