Since Amtrak took over Union Station from USRC last year, things have improved. Crime declined and shops improved.

That will take time inevitably because USRC should be rebuilt, electrification, and in Milton’s case, adding one to two new tracks (likely requires new grade separations, widening/duplicating bridges, etc).
