obviously some ops are already crazy with mods, and Ling(still our wife) probably wouldn't be better with a mod Y, but Ulpianus mod Y would buff AH which would be p neat. trying to not look at really new ops, but it has been a while since Degen, Ines, or Silverash.

tragodia and ulpianus are like. how i handled most early game stages because of how strong their skill 2s are. generally speaking i think strong or good s2 =good pick which is why ascalon is also great

ulpianus also teaches faction synergy and while people might see “raising gladiia to e2 and mod3“ as a negative i think it’s like when they gave you a free shaw and put you in stages that would use the free shaw. except gladiia can lane hold to some extent with her module.
as someone who started in april i feel a little qualified to answer:
ULPIANUS (bias: MY starter carry. also forces you to level gladiia (who is free and also a pull stroker!!) if you want to use him effectively. can work on skill 2 for most stages, so no e2 needed for a while)
