It's mostly fall-out from revealing that the recently returned Little Jon was Ultraboy, and for putting Jon in that ridiculous looking Tomorrow Man outfit that makes him look like a Temu Nightwing. One fans also convinced themselves Slott is catering to the right wing.

As part of that arc there was this big tease with a kid version of Jon showing up. But the kid turned out to be Ultraboy (son of Earth 3’s Ultraman and Superwoman) and was taken back by his real mom.

I am so glad I didn't buy the books, if it was real I would have brought them all that same day, I just hate the idea that they might have Ultraboy as SBoy and say it's good enough.
Just do a universe reboot and have Clois childless like DC seems to want.
