It was kind of a badass MacGyver kind of car! We converted a golf cart motor into a generator and ran it at constant peak efficiency to keep a bank of ultracapacitors charged, and I'm kind of amazed nobody got hurt honestly. (Another car did have one explode, but the whole thing was in a plexy box)

7. Ultracapacitors . I can't find it but 10-15 years ago some guy got investment money from GM for a capacitor that could store so much charge you could drive hundreds of miles on it. I would bet a car that it was a scam from day zero, but I have no proof.
