Watched Naked Gun 2 this afternoon.

Watched Wheels on Meals for the first time in decades last night. The comedy is broad (and a bit unPC now) but the fights and stunt work are still impressive. There's a real weight behind those strikes and it looks painful.

when someone says "I miss the 90s when videogames/comics/cartoons weren't woke before they were ruined by blue haired SJWs - I love the OGs and their unPC attitude!" we understand what their appeal to false tradition is doing. hp is excluded and it's fascinating why.

Ah yes. I’d remembered it as Cleese killing the dogs, but you’re right. It’s an even kinder (and funnier) character (and as he based the performance on his own dad’s stammer I think it’s quite a sensitive and inclusive portrayal and not that unPC) I might be wrong. I don’t remember it well!
One could argue that Cleese's character in Wanda is the least funny character though.
However Palin's character in the same film IS hilarious, and the fact he is the animal loving criminal that is accidentally killing off dogs makes it funny. So being nice works for his character.
