A group of eight people, including TUM's president Thomas F. Hofmann, stands together on a rooftop terrace at dusk, all giving a thumbs‑up gesture. Behind them is a city skyline with a distinctive building illuminated by large blue circular lights, as well as a crane and additional buildings in the distance. The scene mixes a celebratory group moment with a dramatic evening sky. A large group of event guests raises glasses of sparkling wine in a coordinated toast inside a brightly lit event hall. Several tall tables with drinks and snacks are placed around the room, which features glass walls and a modern, spacious layout. A larger group of people is gathered in a bright indoor event space, standing around tall cocktail tables with sparkling drinks, water, and snacks such as pretzels. Many attendees look toward an unseen speaker or presentation, creating a sense of focused attention in a modern, open room with glass partitions. Three people, including TUM's president Thomas F. Hofmann, chancellor Albert Berger and President Emeritus Wolfgang A. Herrmann, in formal business attire stand close together at an indoor reception, each holding a glass of sparkling wine. Additional guests fill the room behind them, and the setting appears professional and well‑lit, suggesting a formal event or celebration.
