the reason why Bluesky Got It Right isn't just because it's a high information environment untethered from an algorithm but also because we have multiple people across multiple fields and socioeconomic statuses that are able to properly contexualize that info for a VARIETY of audiences.

But healthcare bans passed too, even untethered to sports. It’s not “give up sports to win elsewhere”. It’s “give up sports and the give up the next thing…and then the next”. Hopefully there are legislative recourse for these, but it shows how wanton the public is for trans exclusion.

feeling less and less untethered as I’m allowing myself to plan more than 5 months out in my life. refusing to think past NOW has been a security blanket I’m ok with loosening my grip on. I’m allowed to want nice and good things & even if they fall through, well I know how to handle disappointment!
