My senior year at UofM in the aerospace engineering department winter of ‘88 I took airplane design as it was required. The jet used was a Lear jet, not sure if it was this model. When you take these details into account, ask what role a changing climate played in bringing this jet down.

I chased that girl to Ann Arbor after culinary school. We moved in together once she graduated from UofM. Then we packed up and moved to St. Louis together. Now, 30 of God's own years later, we live in Detroit with our kids, a couple rescue pit bulls, and all these memories.

For the next three months I tried to woo this girl. We exchanged flirty emails, talked about life (such as it was for 19 year olds). I thought I was doing real well. Then, one day in march or April (or whenever UofM has finals) I made my move.
