Yes Deroldsen. Because each UVisa holder is, by definition, someone who has been greatly or permanently harmed by a crime against them and went out of their way to bring the person who hurt them to justice by fully cooperating with our system.

Yes Deroldsen. Because each UVisa holder is, by definition, someone who has been greatly or permanently harmed by a crime against them and went out of their way to bring the person who hurt them to justice by fully cooperating with our system.

It takes years to get UVisa approved but with his good lawyer this should expedite his application review. If they actually follow the law.

True I worked in social work for Dv clients . They don’t qualify for housing , food stamps health care ( mercy care only at er) . They apply for uvisa for being a victim of a crime, to help prosecute offenders, drug dealers . It takes for ever to even get a working visa through this program!

My personal way of doing it would be expanded CBP one, universal CAA and then asylum and UVisa/Vawa for inadmissible people who need it.

This is essentially the logic behind the UVisa and VAWA programs. I hadn’t thought about them since Jan. 20, but now it occurs to me - are those on the chopping block under the regime?
(It’s easy to make an educated guess, but has there been documentation that they want to end these programs?)

I have only gotten them for Uvisa EADs since he took office.
Also lot of the guys who went into detention are saying their docs got taken and destroyed so they have to get new ones.

Lawyer in video explains the long process. I helped a DACA student with application/lawyer & it took 7 yrs to get GC because of regime’s first term. Things didn’t start moving until Biden elected. Helped another get UVisa approved also 7 yrs. Long wait for GC now. “Get in line” people have no idea.
