No. Regular Falcon 9 launch out of VAFB. Hundreds of these have been launched past few years without incident. One about every 2 months out of CA. My view from Carlsbad CA.

Grew up 15 miles from VAFB… a couple of times a year - if we were outside and we heard “that rumble” we knew to look SSW immediately. So flippin’ cool...

VAFB ones usually affect me most on West Coast, Central CA
I’ve noticed folks closer to the eastern seaboard affected more from the Cape Canaveral launches
Maybe a coincidence, but i do know from a friend at vafb cell signals get blocked temporarily at launch, then a couple hours later w/testing

Musk is usurping Vandenberg Air Force Base in Lompoc, CA, as his own launching pad, while destroying the environment and disrupting communities as far as 70 miles away. I despise him!

launches, added to inversion layer, intermixed w/spectrum of light from sunset)

I used to work for a TV station in San Luis Obispo and we would ALWAYS cover these. VAFB sent video if you couldn’t send anyone or breaking news happened

yes, the native Pine to that area is the Bishop pine, which grows at higher elevations on south vafb. a smaller, nice pine that does well with low precipitation and fog
