Ummmm, not with me! For the few minutes that it was in my system, I was suicidal - wanting to kill both myself & baby. Then, the second it wore off, I was happy & excited for baby again.
I felt so bad for the student midwife monitoring me (because VBAC) who was traumatised (as was I) by my reaction.

With my son, I switch to Uc Davis health and I made it to term with the only issue being gestational diabetes and ofc decided against an VBAC and a tubal removal to have another csection which was also a great recovery. He was born 4 days before my birthday :)

25 years ago today a doctor wanted to turn the tv on in my room so he could watch coverage of the twin towers. While I was in active labor. Struggling to birth my 2nd child VBAC style. On my [now late] father's birthday. 😒 Even my crap memory will provide the "where were you" for that tragedy.

Yeaaah he was in respiratory distress and everything. All I’d been saying was that I was glad I’d chosen a repeat c section because I kept having this nagging feeling I’d end up needing an emergency one if I tried a VBAC.
