Voices for Freedom met with Commission of the Covid-19 Phase 2 inquiry twice, and emailed readouts of the meetings that, from their perspective, captured how they went, & what was presented. The email is a litany of mis/disinfo, hyperbole, lies, & conspiracies. They also have one more session left!

Many in the general public - mostly those who were not themselves vulnerable - had concerns about mandates extending too far, and lockdowns lasting too long, that were shared by VFF. That doesn't mean VFF has any value. They are still racist, antisemitic, harmful anti-vax conspiracy theorists.

This "union" is the sister union of a nurses union, originally bought to New Zealand by Nurses for Freedom, a VFF front group run by VFF Wairarapa coordinator Deborah Cunliffe. Deborah is also the Groundswell coordinator for the region and ran for the Conservative party in 2014.
