#VIPV

Lange wars still um Vehicle Integrated Photovoltaics (VIPV). Besonders LKW, sogar Diesel-LKW, profitieren.

🚗 @fraunhoferise.bsky.social's new study reveals that Vehicle Integrated Photovoltaics (VIPV) could generate up to 80% of a car’s annual energy needs in Southern Europe and 55% in Central Europe.

If widely adopted, VIPV could cut 15.6 TWh of grid electricity demand by 2030.
