Ik vind dat ik niet genoeg doe en niet snel genoeg maar afgelopen maand 3 stappen gezet weg van US Big Tech:
❌ Paypal (opgericht door Peter Thiel, je weet wel van Palantir)
❌ Visacard (je hebt bovendien geen creditcard nodig met de nieuwe debit cards).

mastercard and visa do not want to be seen to be doing this. their position as a de-facto duopoly depends on seeming like part of the furniture. they're trying this now to blend into to a wave of reaction in the west but that doesn't mean any gov wants to cede censorship powers to derek visacard.

Habt Ihr auch so eine Mail bekommen. Man muss nur an einer Umfrage teilnehmen um dieses Notfallset im Wert von knapp 100 Euro kostenlos zu erhalten. Lediglich das Porto muss via Visacard bezahlt werden. Sowas ist doch nicht seriös, oder? Das ist doch Phishing?

Habt Ihr auch so eine Mail bekommen. Man muss nur an einer Umfrage teilnehmen um dieses Notfallset im Wert von knapp 100 Euro kostenlos zu erhalten. Lediglich das Porto muss via Visacard bezahlt werden. Sowas ist doch nicht seriös, oder? Das ist doch Phishing?

Dazu mal das hier. Wahrscheinlich gibts dann bald, Master- & Visacard, sowie American Express (ach ne, da kommt ja Donnald T drauf), mit seinem Gesicht drauf und dann weiß er auch, was ihr mit eurem "guten" Namen alles bezahlt.
Hat auch Nachteile. Auf unserem Weg nach Kopenhagen vor 2 Jahren waren entlang unserer Strecke die Behinderten-WCs ausschließlich mit Visacard zu öffnen. Hatte ich nicht…
