VirTra (Nasdaq: VTSI) was awarded a $1.5 million sole-source contract by the U.S. Army Contracting Command–Orlando to provide an integrated V-300 4K immersive firearms training system, including recoil kits and supporting equipment, to support partner-force training in Tajikistan.The Army awarded the contract on a sole-source basis, recognizing VirTra as the original equipment manufacturer and only provider able to deliver the required proprietary hardware, software and integrated support. According to VirTra, the program supports U.S. efforts to build partner capacity and strengthens the company’s position in global defense training markets.

VirTra (Nasdaq: VTSI) reported second quarter and six‑month 2026 results for the period ended June 30, 2026. Q2 2026 revenue was $5.8 million, down 17% year over year, with gross profit of $3.4 million and gross margin of 59% versus 69% a year ago. Q2 net loss was $0.3 million, or $(0.02) per diluted share, compared with net income of $0.2 million, and Adjusted EBITDA was $0.4 million versus $0.7 million.For the first six months, revenue was $9.2 million (‑35%), gross profit $5.5 million (60% margin), and net loss $1.6 million versus $1.4 million net income. Adjusted EBITDA was $(0.5) million versus $2.4 million. Bookings reached $5.5 million in Q2 and backlog totaled $24.9 million. VirTra was accepted into the U.S. Army Marketplace in three capability areas and acquired a dual‑building Orlando campus to expand its defense training presence.
