Ro ValEng is a sylph fugitive and former acolyte in the Celestial Heritage Conservatory's Astral Templar. After a disastrous reunion with her younger sister, Ro was apparently killed by Qebrus in combat. However, she soon found
herself very much alive, surrounded by Ybric thralls, and having suddenly manifested some unusual new capabilities.

Quick to anger, Ro is driven by the shame of having mutilated her younger sister, and she is determined to prove-to even Dal, to even herself-that she was correct to do so.

DAL VALENG
[ dahl val•ENG ]

Race: Sylph
Affiliation: None
Occupation: Thief

Born: 2456.267 (age 13), Llyri
Height: 4'6
Languages: Sylph, erjan

Dal ValEng is a sylph thief, formerly based in Ras Huran. Disillusioned as much by her abusive family life as her society's theocracy, Dal ran away from her home in Llyri and, with the help of the eidolan Qebrus, learned quickly how to survive on her own in one of the Western Waste's largest cities.

Dal tends to present herself as an upbeat and self-sufficient person; in truth, however, Dal yearns for a real sense of family and belonging she feels she may never have had, and fears she may never find.

QEBRUS
[ KEB•russ ]

Race: Eidolan
Affiliation: The Luminous Body
Occupation: Decadent

Born: Unknown
Height: 8'3
Languages: Erjan

Qebrus is an eidolan decadent of the Luminous Body, as well as the former business partner and de facto guardian of Dal ValEng; together, the pair would separate hundreds of slabs of glass from hapless citizens of Ras Huran. But, having recently struck down Dal's older sister in a petty display of avarice, Qebrus finds he must now re-evaluate his priorities.

Qebrus has spent much of his life uncritically following the doctrine of the Luminous Body, which demands the perpetual acquisition and retention of physical wealth at any cost. He is beginning to wonder why.
