Instead, as Valka could remember, she moved with an unhurried grace that seemed to mock Valka more than any jest could. With barely a ripple, as a fish again leaped from the waters– Teeth bared, in one fell swoop, Elinor caught the fish clean in her mouth. The salmon thrashed, the light catching just right to blind, until the woman clamped down harder.

A Queen and Her Dragon BagleBagle Chapter 4: Food For Thought Summary: Why does my son act like my mother? or Breakfast with the Haddocks It was just as the sun barely rose when Valka stirred from a deep slumber. She barely remembered braving the ocean the night before, nor stumbling into a cave with Cloudjumper just shy of New Berk. A big stretch and a yawn, as she laid back against her loyal steed.

Hi my very active Bluesky #Valkinor fandom I have made new for Valka and Elinor and it's Knight x Queen and there will be dragons and a little conflict and uh yeah

“Your Majesty,” Valka’s voice croaked out as she blinked back into the present, a palm against her chest as she bowed before her Queen. “Rise,” Was a simple enough word for Elinor to speak back, as she regarded the other. “Tell me, Sir Valka, do ye often drift so far into thought, even upon duty?” “Thought has ever been a companion of mine,” The knight had dared to murmur back, like she held a grudge for her ancestors. “Though never a thought did cross my mind it’d garner your attention, Your Majesty.” “It has,” Elinor said simply, though the words lingered in the air longer than they should, heavy with meaning neither dared name. “It’s improper of a Knighted such as yerself to undress in any shape or manner whilst actively serving.”
