Two of my many many drying bean pods were ready, so I picked them and took the beans out. THEY ARE SO PRETTY!!
I don’t know if I’m even gonna be able to cook them after I have a bunch dried. I’m just gonna wanna put them in a jar and look at them!

Demolition of the house that was standing here started March 20th. I set out the first planter box April 21st. Now it looks like this! All ready for winter, just need to finish hanging Christmas lights, before it gets too cold to fiddle with that project.

Mid October update. At this point the sun has gone bye bye & what remains will last until it gets too cold

Peppers are doing well, and the lime/orange tree is really doing well. One last tomato plant hangs on for now. Strabberries are dorment till next year!

Due to my excessive amount of pepper plants, I had to find a way to use them without them taking up any more freezer space. So I've resorted to drying them to make paprika powder! I did the chilies earlier, with great success. It smells so good here!

Today we're building 6 new beds on the NNE side of the pergola. (L side in pic below.)
This winter it'll give me room for 180 additional brassica plants. In the spring each bed will have 2 rows of 20 stalks @ of corn, w/ space for flowers or other veg down each side of the 2 rows
