Velmère is entering the final stage. The UI is nearly done; now we’re hardening PDF/JSON/TXT reports, fixing verification rendering and completing provider integrations. Audit-engine fixes will stay visible as the system improves over time.

An excerpt from my Be Gay Do Crimes WIP: She leads them onward, beyond the food stalls, to the creator’s circle where ink, metal, and cloth artists display their work. They stroll by beautiful tapestries depicting the legend of the first celebration of Velmere, decorative metal trinkets, and vibrant paintings whose images move upon the canvas. One painting in particular draws Ness’ gaze. It’s of the northern lights, and amidst the shimmering greens, purples, blues, and reds, there are constellations of people dancing across the night sky. The painting has a dream-like quality that’s strangely entrancing.

An excerpt from my Be Gay Do Crimes WIP: Tearing her gaze away, she searches for a distraction. Velmere celebrations are still in full swing all around her. Some people trade stories around the central bonfire, while others admire snow sculptures of the Printmaker and winter animals, and plenty more refill their mugs with mulled wine, mead, and hot chocolate—both regular and alcoholic. Snowflakes start to fall from the sky, dusting them all like powdered sugar shaken from a sieve. It’s oddly soothing to watch everyone from the bench, a part of the festival but also a bit removed.
