Other bits of the ride. Starting to feel like spring out there.
Took the bus all last week because of seasonal crud. Convinced myself to try cycling all 5 days this week, and I'm greeted with this delightful weather.
At least the pre-dawn views are nice with the tollway incense sticks, lit guardrails, and the Melburn Wheel poking through in the background.

The V1 Veloway in Brisbane is so nearly there for many more than 5.4kms! Just Birdwood Rd and Klumpp Rd bridges needed for maybe 15kms uninterrupted…
If there are Seven Wonders of the Cycling World, Beijing's Shangdi–Huilongguan Highway deserves a place on the list.

The V1 Veloway in Brisbane is so nearly there for many more than 5.4kms! Just Birdwood Rd and Klumpp Rd bridges needed for maybe 15kms uninterrupted…
Went back and had another look at the Dixon Veloway bumps/fix. The more I look at it, the happier I am with the fix, also the more I question why it took this long. I also think barring the need for longevity testing they should just fix them all.

Got out early for a #cycling circuit, along the Yarra river and Moonee Ponds creek via the Dixon Veloway. Have a bunch of domestic chores to attend to, so best change out of (warm) lycra kit and set about things. Maybe get out to a store for #RecordStoreDay, in the afternoon.
