Vendrame out of the Giro, along with Vine, Soler, Holter and Buitrago following the crash with 23kk to go
🏥 MEDICAL UPDATE 🏥
Andrea Vendrame will not start stage 3 of the Giro d’Italia.
The Italian suffered fractures to 3 transverse processes in his lower back after crashing heavily in today’s stage.
He will return to Italy to undergo further examinations & begin his recovery.
