However, this story only applies to Texas and I can only to speak to Dallas. That's important because there's a saying inside VA: "If you've been to one VA, you've been to one VA." Which is to say they're not all experiencing the same demand nationally. Every medical center and VISN are different.

I work with an exceptional team at my VISN. They have done a phenomenal job at keeping us focused and engaged with the veterans. We all want to be here. We all want to work for the Vets. As a medical coding auditor, I can tell you, we are the source of revenue for them. It's very tough right now.

VA computer systems are notoriously slow. The older VISTA system with our old imaging records could not be accessed from La Jolla last week to a different VISN. With reducing 18 VISNs down to 5, losing 40,000 employees, Trump is out to kill veterans & kill the VA.

I have perused the federal register, VA-wide directives, VISN policies, and my VA’s SOPs, and I haven’t found explicit language reflecting what the article reported. Doesn’t mean it’s not there, I just didn’t find it in the brief moments I had to look during each attempt.

Both were converted from pre-existing networks that started as religious channels before morphing into quasi-religious "family-friendly" networks, and both were forced to continue airing religious programs after their corporate takeovers due to contractual reasons
